Pittsburgh, the City of Champions, is the home of some of the best table tennis players in the country. This November the region’s two nonprofit table tennis clubs (South Park Table Tennis Club and Pittsburgh Oakland Table Tennis Club) partnered again with the Allegheny County Parks Department to hold the region’s 2nd annual Amateur Ping Pong Championship, at the Home Economics Building in beautiful South Park. The event was especially designed for amateur players who have never competed in a public event and who want to test their skills against their fellow amateurs as well as against the region’s top players.
